Green Day, huh? Why is it I can picture you listening to nearly anything but Green Day — even Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, whom I have always found to be fun?
The Green Day concert in Miami is next Tuesday.
Green Day has always been great, but their American Idiot album was just off-the-charts awesome. That was so cohesive and brilliant that it’s just untouchable. I haven’t heard their new album yet, but I’m dying to!
As a rocker myself, I give 21st Century Breakdown my personal seal of approval. As I say in all my music reviews, though, it can’t hold a candle to “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.”
But I don’t think anything can.
Loved the new one since I play, listen to, live and breathe rock. If you ever do another rock one, I’ll send you some of my stuff, heh.
