Quick update as I’ve snuck into my doctor’s office to send this message.
I had a heart attack on Friday, the 7th. I was rushed to the hospital where I underwent emergency surgery to save my life. (A success, I might add.)
Another surgery is scheduled for this Friday, perhaps a bit later. I am currently out of the ICU, and should be home in a little over a week.
Thank you all for the kind thoughts on Facebook and beyond.
I will be fine.

I don’t know where to begin… A) I am VERY relieved to hear you are okay and that you and your doctors have a plan to keep you okay and 2) our thoughts, well wishes, good karma, every kinda good energy we can issue up is with you. Rebeca’s especially, you need to be well enough to not only shoot your movie but to come back to the states and meet her when you are touring for the movie’s promotion. Stay well, Brother, and keep us informed.

Dude! You have to be ok! I got a call from Jackie Chan, he said he wants to be in your movie! Ok, maybe not but I thought it would make you feel better for at least a second.
