On January 1, 1999, I launched an online magazine called Cyber Age Adventures. This magazine of superhero fiction featured thoughtful, literate prose stories about the lives of original superheroes, following the edict that we told stories about people… they just happened to be people with superpowers. Along the way, I picked up some outstanding staff writers and phenomenal artists, some of whom have gone on to greater fame and glory.
For more than six years we published our unique brand of fiction, building a universe, a family, and a pretty respectable fan base. We won a few awards, too, most notably the Writer’s Digest Grand Prize in their first-ever Zine Publishing Awards.
Since our first year online, we started publishing collection of those stories under the banner of CAA Press, but later transferred those to New Babel Books after several deals with other publishers fell flat.

These trade editions were a big hit at conventions and it allowed folks who hadn’t yet discovered our site to catch up on all the great work we’d been doing. Not long after that, I struck a deal with U.S. Games Systems, Inc. to publish my most original extension of that universe: the world’s first complete superhero tarot deck!

Of course, we didn’t stop there. We finally released the first print version of our award-winning magazine in June 2005 and a full-length novel called Swan Song not long after.
We’re currently in the process of starting a new magazine called “I, Hero” and we need your support! Visit Kickstarter through the banner below to see how you can help!

Great find… I will look out for you

Lancelot – I’m not in Seoul anymore, my friend. I was just there for a long weekend. I should be back in three months, though, so if you’d like to meet then, drop me a line!
Frank,
I love the Superhero tarot deck and would love to get one. I didn’t think they existed, but read above that someone “picked one up”? If you’ve got a line on them, I’ll stop trying to manufacture my own personal copy on printer paper and buy one!
Thanks
