ChineseClass101
May 24th, 2009 by Frank

With a few years of remote study under my belt, I took the plunge and moved to China in February 2009 and it’s been a tremendous experience, especially in terms of language acquisition. Part of that experience was learning exactly what vocabulary was useful and what wasn’t in a practical application.
For a few years now I’d been friends with some great folks that I’d met in China during previous trips — Dave Lancashire and Amber Scorah, to name just two — and these are the folks who have joined me to be part of the creative team behind this juggernaut of a language site: ChineseClass101.com. I’m the host of the Beginner series, along with my co-host Echo Yao, and together we deliver a fantastic progressive lesson series that gives the absolute beginner exactly what you need to know if you’re going to visit this awesome country.
ChineseClass101 is the sister to about a dozen different “101″ sites from Innovative Language. Check out this promo with the absurdly good-looking people from KoreanClass101.com!

heeey, I know them! Well, not really… but I am a student of theirs! Yay! I hope that you are learning much Korean.
How could I not? They’re such fantastic teachers! And honestly, the 101 approach to learning is the best I’ve seen.
